Overview of SportsBetting Sportsbook

SportsBetting Sportsbook Review: Casino, Poker & More

SportsBetting was launched way back in 2002, which means that it’s already been around for almost two decades. In the intervening years, it’s built up a stellar reputation for itself and now holds an A rating in SBR’s guide to the world’s best online sports betting sites.

Its website is SSL encrypted, its headquarters are located in Panama, and as well as a sportsbook, you will also find a casino and a live casino here.

And unlike a lot of other online sportsbooks, it doesn’t turn away winners.

Things To Consider Before Signing Up

Before you sign up for any sportsbook, there are a few things you need to take into consideration first:

  • Welcome bonus – All sportsbooks offer a sign-up bonus to new players, but you must check the terms and conditions before you grab it
  • User interface – If there’s one thing that can ruin your experience, it’s a poorly designed website. A good user interface is clean, neatly organized, and intuitively designed. Site speed is important, too
  • Casino – Most online sports sites offer a casino alongside their sportsbook, but it’s a good idea to see what games are on offer, who the software providers are, as well as what the graphics and gameplay are like. Is there a live casino, too?
  • Sports variety – Have a closer look to see if the sportsbook offers your favorite sports, as this will go a long way to determining how much you’ll enjoy using the site
  • Payment options – Does the site offer your preferred payment methods? Limited payment methods should be an instant red flag
  • Customer service – What sort of customer service is available? Is live chat available, as well as telephone and email support? And how helpful are the agents?

SportsBetting Broken Down: What’s It Got?

Sports You Can Bet On

Sports are obviously a big part of what this site is all about, and the sports variety here is very good.

The site helpfully divides sports into two categories:

  • Main sports
  • Other sports

You’ll find all the major ones in the main sports section, such as football, baseball, basketball, hockey, and soccer. You will also find here politics and odds boosters.

In the other sports section, which is down at the bottom of the left-hand column, you’ll find a variety of niche sports, including Aussie Rules, snooker, rugby, and chess. You will find the lottery here as well, and also entertainment and financial betting options.

Here is a complete list of the sports you can bet at SportsBetting:

  • Football
  • Baseball
  • Basketball
  • Golf
  • Hockey
  • Horse racing
  • Martial arts
  • Soccer
  • Tennis
  • Aussie Rules
  • Auto racing
  • Boxing
  • Chess
  • Cricket
  • Cycling
  • Darts
  • Futsal
  • Lacrosse
  • Rugby League
  • Rugby Union
  • Snooker
  • Table tennis
  • Volleyball

Overall, this is a good selection of sports and on par with all the major sportsbooks. Moreover, there are a good amount of lines and markets available for each sport. For example, in tennis (which can be considered a niche sport), you can bet on players to win the next game, the total number of games, and players to win the current set.

Player props in the NFL, meanwhile, are wide-ranging and cover head-to-heads, first scorer rushing yards, pass completions, and carries. I’d say that out of all the betting sites I’ve reviewed, and few can match SportsBetting when it comes to NFL props.

Odds-wise, SportsBetting offers very good overnight lines. This is food for thought for experienced bettors who love to line shop. SportsBetting is a good place to find value simply because they put their lines up so early.

However, it’s also worth mentioning that they don’t offer reduced juice.

Live Betting

Live betting is available at SportsBetting. To access the in-play matches, you just need to click the ‘Live Betting’ tab at the top left of the screen.’ Next to it is a ‘How To Bet Live’ tab, which is great for beginners who have never bet in-play before. I’ve never seen such a useful guide offered by a betting site!

What’s the in-play betting experience like?

It’s good. Once you click on the ‘Live Betting’ tab, you’re taken to a screen where all the current live games are listed in a column to the left-hand side. You just need to scroll down to find the sport you want. Then, you can click on the sport to reveal a dropdown menu of all the current live games.

Once you click on a game, all the current betting options (as well as the current score) expand in the center of the screen. The site offers plenty of live betting options and markets, and whilst they don’t offer up-to-the-minute statistics on the game, they do offer vital factoids and past statistics. They also offer in-play tips.

For example, if a soccer match is tied at 0-0, they might display an interesting fact related to one of the teams, such as how often they go on to win a game that’s tied 0-0 at half-time. This saves you doing the research yourself and can help you place a more informed bet. Again, this is something I haven’t seen before at any other betting site.

They also have a ‘head to head’ section that helpfully informs you of how the two opponents have fared against each other in the past:

As you can see from the image, you’ll also find a form guide in this section too. It’s small things like this that help SportsBetting stand apart from their rivals.

Casino & Poker

As well as their sportsbook, SportsBetting also offers a casino and a live casino. Here, you’ll find a wide range of slot games, video table games, and even a few 3D jackpot games (which come with massive jackpots).

Table games include all the classics, such as variants of baccarat, craps, roulette, blackjack, and poker. There are plenty of video poker options, too, including pyramid poker, single-hand poker, and multi-hand poker.

Fans of specialty games will be happy as well. Here, you’ll find games like Keno, among others, while there is even some bingo action to keep you entertained in-between sports bets.

The live casino, meanwhile, offers live dealer games around the clock, and it’s proven to be a winner at SportsBetting. Higher limits are available here, but because the limits vary from dealer to dealer, you’ll need to take a closer look before you get involved. Live dealer games include Hold’em poker, roulette, baccarat, and blackjack.

All in all, I was more than satisfied with SportsBetting’s casino section. It was clear that they’d put in far more effort than many other sports betting sites.

Payment Options

SportsBetting offers a number of payment options, which should be enough to keep most customers happy. Deposit options include Visa, Discover, American Express, MasterCard, with the maximum deposit for each of these credit cards set at $5,000. The minimum deposit for Discover and American Express is $50, while the minimum deposit for MasterCard and Visa is $25.

You can also deposit via cryptocurrency, and SportsBetting accepts all the major ones, such as Ripple, Bitcoin, and LiteCoin. You can also make a person-to-person deposit or use a wire transfer deposit if you want to make a huge deposit.

When it comes to withdrawing your money, your options are again wide-ranging. You can use cryptocurrency, which has withdrawal limits of between $20 and $10,000, or wire transfer, which has higher limits of $500 and $24,900.

credEcardplus, meanwhile, lets you withdraw via a loaded Visa debit. It has limits of between $200 and $3000.

Other withdrawal options include cheques and Skrill.

Bonuses and Promotions

Surprisingly for a betting site aimed largely at professional bettors, SportsBetting has a number of tasty bonuses on offer:

  • Welcome bonus – The sign-up bonus nets you 50% free play up to $1,000 when you make your first deposit
  • Reload bonus – SportsBetting’s reload bonus will match 25% of your second, third, and other subsequent deposits up to $500. This means you could deposit $2,000 and grab an extra $500 on top. This bonus comes with a 6x rollover
  • Crypto reload bonus – Should you choose to make your subsequent deposits with a cryptocurrency, you will be eligible for a 35% reload bonus
  • Free play bonus – A free play bonus is offered out now and then, so make sure to keep checking your account. Once you’ve received them, you must use with them within the first 30 days

What Are Others Saying About SportsBetting?

For the sake of fairness and balance, I like to take a look at what other customers are saying about the betting sites I review.

Where SportsBetting is concerned, most customers are pleased with the site overall, especially its quick withdrawal process. However, some raise concerns with its customer service:

SportsBetting’s website is SSL encrypted. It also uses a two-factor authentication system. It’s 100% safe and legit, and I have no worries on the security front.

SportsBetting is one of the few sites that let you play freely with no limits. Recreational bettors can stake as small as they want, while the pros can stake as high as they want.

Yes. It’s part of Sports Betting’s excellent customer service.

SportsBetting Review: Final Verdict

Sports betting is always better when we choose the right site. I hope my review has helped you decide whether or not SportsBetting is the one for you. It’s my opinion that this is one of the best online sportsbooks for the pros, but with overnight lines, tasty bonuses, and lots of sports variety, there’s also something here for recreational sports bettors, too.
